Every three years the forum of solutions to world-wide oil spill incidents comes to the United States. The International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC) is the preeminent event in an international series of meetings that also includes the Spillcon conference, held in Australia, and Interspill, held in Europe. All operate on a three-year cycle to ensure that there is only one major international event for the oil spill remediation industry each year.
